Got a new member who is a prisoner, Warren Swan imprisoned is held by House Stockholm. How did he become a prisoner and how did he suddenly join the house at 21 . On a side note getting the feel of the game a bit better, well meaning I have sorted in my mind what I plan to build and have at the estate. Combat and ships will have to wait a few days. Impressions of the game I like it, might have helped if I read the rules first though ;D

When an estate falls, the surviving characters are imprisoned if they belong to the previous honour's house with the exception of the Steward and Tribune. Other house's characters are not imprisoned.
When a house ceases to exist, all its surviving characters join random nearby houses. Characters may also leave a house through poor loyalty usually brought about by successful petitions from an emissary.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, he was probably injured during the fight so in bad shape when you got him.

After getting a taste of combat over the last couple of days just thought I'd express a few thoughts
1) Not sure I particularly like the way damage is allocated at the moment....it seems very artificial that your tanks will soak up all damage first. Whilst they probably would be the focus of most attention, it seems odd to me that if you have 100 tanks and 10,000 troops and have 2000 incoming damage then you won't lose any troops.
That said, I think it is perhaps exarcerbated as those tanks that survive an armour roll will still soak up damage before soldiers in the same round. So in the above example if there is 3200 damage and 50 tanks survive a roll, the 1200 excess damage is again split across tanks, and again until all tank armour rolls have failed and only then moves to the next step.
I think it may develop to be more frustrating system when higher tech items become available, when you may prefer soldiers to have snuffed it rather than your shiny new toys/Vanguard....
Perhaps then damage should be split with say 50% distributed in the current manner, whilst the other 50% is apportioned on the mass of the enemy?
2) I want to see how lucky/unlucky I've been quantified. Could we have a Hit %, Average Damage, number of armour save rolls by item type, by round please!
3) If I read the below two bits rightly, I've got a feeling that my one character that was Emissary at the Estate being attacked may have opted to help take over the defences...
*** Defender Character Injuries (Injury Roll Modifier: -2) *** Baron Toledo was badly hurt.
*** Attacker Won ***
Attacker: The Golden Company - Survives Defender: Hawke - Defeated
House Toledo gained 6 glory House Toledo gained 4 glory

Also....is it possible to transfer units between armies....because currently I'm struggling to think how you can throw extra troops into an army that you move off world unless someone gifts you a land to turn into an estate

...and is there any way of tidying up all the Field Promotion units? In the Golden Company I seem to have ended up with 13 Field Promotion units - some of which are empty - as different units each had promotions and then some of these then saw a second round of promotions.
Also....what happened to the 50 Fighters that were part of the Hawke army?

Missed this. Added a note to tidy up units after combat to the todo list.
House Hawke's army would have routed after the house dissolved.
