A few of my characters travelled via ship to another estate to attend the wedding of one of the family.
The ship has docked at the brides estate and all the passengers disembarked into the estate for the wedding which is in a few days time. But over the last couple of days one of the wedding party keeps embarking back onto the ship.So I keep ordering him to disembark, which he does. But the next day he's back on the ship.
What's going on? If this continues he'll be on the ship on the day of the wedding and not present at the estate.

Does the character have a naval skill? I've had something similar where an archbishop keeps boarding a docked ship. I think ignorant is the automation that is in play where characters try to put themselves in available roles.
Its both handy as it is a free move.but irritating with things like this. One solution would be to takeoff and travel to the estate...though that said I've found that if on a ship on an estate the character can still perform actions that if in orbit they would be unable to so they may well still be in attendance....

Automatic appointments to Legate and Captain have been turned off. It was a nice idea but it does seem to cause some problems.
Shouldn't happen again for you Ted.
